SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Hundreds of individuals assembled in front of Sacramento City Lobby on Tuesday calling for city leaders to meet in person. Due to the novel coronavirus outbreak, the chamber has been meeting via Zoom since March.
“Right now is when we’re trying to make changes to policing, and they’re not getting the voices of the people to create the right changes,” said Tanya Faison, organizer with Black Lives Matter-Sacramento.
