FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida — The Fort Lauderdale Police Department released footage, on Monday, of former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale being tackled and taken into custody on Sunday.
Parscale had reportedly made “suicidal comments throughout the week”, his wife Candice Parscale told police. Candice Parscale left the house when her husband reportedly racked the slide of a hand gun in front of her, and alerted police when she heard what she thought was a gunshot, believing he had shot himself. Parscale was arrested under the Baker Act, a Florida law that enables families to provide emergency mental health services and temporary detention for those who are impaired due to mental illness.
