(VNN) — Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou arrived at the Supreme Court, in Vancouver, on Monday, as extradition trial resumes. Her lawyers believe the US misled the Canadian court about the case against her, saying the US has cherry picked information from a 2013 PowerPoint presentation she made to HSBC in 2013. Meng is wanted by the US to stand trial on charges linked to alleged violations of US trade sanctions against Iran. The case involves a Huawei-owned company. This is the first time she has appeared in court since May. China has called for Meng’s release on multiple occasions.
