Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, France — VNN is live from outside College du Bois d’Aulne, in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, near Paris, on Sunday, October 18, as people pay tributes to the man who was decapitated in a terror attack. On Friday, 47-year-old history teacher Samuel Paty was beheaded outside his school. The teacher had recently showed caricatures of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad to his students during a discussion on freedom of speech.The suspect was identified as being Abdulak Abuezidovich A., a 18-year-old Russian of “Chechen origin” who lived in Evreux, Normandy, with a refugee status. It is reported that the attacker was chased from the site and later shot dead in nearby Eragny-Sur-Oise. An anti-terrorist prosecutor has been called in to lead the investigation into the attack.
