MIAMI, Florida — Early voting for the 2020 presidential election started in Florida on Monday, with dozens of voters seen queuing to cast their ballot outside a library in Miami. Voters were seen queuing outside the Lemon City Branch Library in the city’s Little Haiti neighborhood. Miami voter James stressed the importance of the upcoming election during “one of the few times that you can remember where the direction of the country is really going to the extreme side.” “At the very least we can bring it back towards the center.” “The current administration is no good for this county,” said voter Ramon. “The pandemic response was horrible and continues to be horrible and it’s not going to change under his [US President Donald Trump] administration.” According to reports, a large voter turnout is expected in Florida as voter registration has soared from previous levels with this year’s election looming.
