MANHATTAN, New York — Street artist @jkosart uses her artwork to highlight the importance of the upcoming US presidential election and to urge people to vote, as seen in New York City on Tuesday. Presidential candidates Donald Trump and Joe Biden could be seen on several street pieces. “I have been putting artwork on the street. All other New York City, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. Basically during this time, we have so many things going on,” @jkosart explained “The street is the only gallery right now and it is the canvas for all of us. As a street artist, it is really an opportunity just to speak our minds in direct relation to what is happening right now,” she added. Election Day is on November 3 but an early voting period in New York will begin on October 24.
